Vision
It is said, “Where the is no vision, the people perish.” Helen Keller said, “It is a terrible thing to see and have no vision.”
The vision behind starting Advent Church is to change the world with the life giving power of God one person at a time. We know this is impossible without the active involvement of our powerful Savior, Jesus Christ. That is very freeing. If it was dependent upon us alone - we would not only fail but give up quickly.
Advent Church's vision is to glorify God while enjoying expanding His Kingdom in Steele Creek and around the world!
We Dream of establishing the church as central to the life of our families and our community.
We Dream of a church where people are loved where they are and also loved to move closer to Jesus.
We Dream of a healthy, dynamic church committed to worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministries of compassion, and experiencing the blessing of growth.
OUR VALUES
We value the Word of God. We believe it all to be true to our lives today!
We value to Gospel we find in the Bible. It is for unbelievers and believers. We all need this good news everyday.
We value people. God created such variety in his image.
We value prayer. It is such a privilege to talk with God and also to listen.
