Pastoral Intern
Unlike most,
Nikolas Franks is a true native of Charlotte. Born and
raised here, you could say Nik was "trouble" until Christ
found him and he was radically transformed by the Gospel at
the age of 21. Shortly after his conversion, Nik moved to
Asheville, NC where he earned a Biblical Studies degree
from Montreat College. In 2008, Nik graduated college,
married his college sweetheart Lindsay and moved back to
his hometown. He is currently attending Reformed
Theological Seminary where he is pursuing a Masters of
Divinity. Nik has over 5 years experience in working with
various church plants and is excited to be a part of what
God is doing at Advent Church.

who would they be and why?
- The dude from Man vs. Wild. Do I need to explain this one?
- The Apostle Paul- He would be the Editor of "Island Weekly: What God has to Say this Week"
- Jack Johnson- He is creative and makes good music for all occasions
4.Favorite book (aside from the Bible)? Stephen Charnock's The Existence and Attributes of God. Guaranteed to blow your mind
5.Biggest pet peave? Passive-aggressive behavior- just come out and tell us how you feel!
