Church, a new community of believers in Steele
Creek, sometimes called a "church plant." We're glad
you're interested in what God is doing here. We're
excited to see what God will do here, and
hope that you'll consider being a part of the coming
of God's kingdom in this place. We hope this site
will be a help in getting a feel for what we're
like.
Presently we are in our embryonic stage as a Church. We are starting from scratch with Bible Studies & Meals in the home of Ken & Lynn Cross. Ken is the Church Planter. You are more than welcome to come on Sunday nights at 5PM to see what is going on with us - we are having a great time!

Why Advent?
Advent means “coming.” It’s a word of hope & anticipation that Christ’s kingdom is coming now on earth. We want to be a driving force for the coming of that kingdom in Charlotte, with all the mess & glory that comes with it. We believe God is at work. We’re named advent because we hope.
